Yours to keep
A Synkbay Pro license works with every Synkbay 1.x release, indefinitely. It's a one-time purchase: there's no subscription, and nothing stops working when a new version comes out.
Future versions are optional
A future major version, such as Synkbay 2, may be a paid upgrade. Pro owners can upgrade for about half the regular price, and your existing version keeps working either way.
90-day grace period
Buy Pro within 90 days before Synkbay 2 is released, and you get Synkbay 2 Pro at no extra cost.
14-day refunds
If Synkbay Pro isn't right for you, ask for a refund within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked.
Checked on your Mac
Your license key arrives by email. Enter it in the License tab in Synkbay's Settings. Activate it within 7 days of receiving it; if you miss that, Purchase Help sends a new key, free. It's checked on your Mac, offline. Moving to a new Mac? Ask for a new key in Purchase Help, up to twice a year; the old key stops working 7 days later.

Try each Pro feature 3 times for free, whenever you first need it. No payment details or account needed. Tries are counted only when a feature actually runs.

Who handles the payment?
Payments are handled by our Merchant of Record (MoR), which acts as our reseller. The MoR takes care of the checkout, sales tax and your receipt.
Is this a subscription?
No. You pay once for Synkbay Pro, and it includes every 1.x update.
What happens when Synkbay 2 comes out?
Your Pro license keeps working with Synkbay 1. Upgrading to Synkbay 2 is optional, at about half the regular price for Pro owners, or free if you bought Pro within 90 days before Synkbay 2 was released.
Will the launch price last?
No. $19.99 is an introductory price for early users. The regular price is $24.99.
How do I activate Pro after buying?
Click Activate Synkbay Pro in the email with your license key, and Synkbay unlocks Pro straight away. Or copy the key from the email into the License tab in Synkbay's Settings. Activate within 7 days of receiving the key; after that it expires, and Purchase Help sends you a new one, free.
I've lost my license key
Your key is in the email sent after your purchase: search your mail for "Synkbay Pro". Or have it sent again, to the address you bought with:

I'm moving to a new Mac
Reinstalling Synkbay on the same Mac never needs a new key: enter your key again. For a different Mac, ask for a new key here. It's emailed to the address you bought with. Each order can get 2 new keys a year, and the previous key stops working 7 days after the new one is sent.
Where's my receipt, and how do I ask for a refund?
Our Merchant of Record emails your receipt right after the purchase. Use the link in that email to see your invoice or ask for a refund, within 14 days of purchase. You can also write to support@synkbay.com.
What happens when my tries are used up?
Synkbay keeps working with all the free features. Pro features show what they do and how to unlock them, and your transfer history is kept.
